This summer, maniACTs presents Shakespeare’s beloved comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream, performed in English at theatreFISTung. Expect a playful evening full of love, mischief, confusion, and fairy magic, where nothing is quite what it seems. Between runaway lovers, amateur actors, and a forest ruled by enchantment, we invite you into a dreamlike world of comedy and chaos.
Synopsis: William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a romantic comedy about four Athenian lovers who get lost in an enchanted forest. A mischievous sprite named Puck complicates their romantic affections using a magic love potion, resulting in a hilarious night of chaotic mix-ups before the magic is undone.
